Modern Cat Feeding: Scheduled Meals for Busy Cat Parents

We had the wonderful opportunity to try out the Petlibro Automatic Feeder! So, at first I had to pause and ponder if it was a product that we would benefit from. As many know, we feed raw food, which means that it is kept in the refrigerator until feeding time. The nature of the automatic pet feeder without a cooling element means that we would not be able to use the Petlibro automatic feeder for their meals. Although we can’t use the feeder for our cats’ frozen-thawed raw meals, we can use freeze-dried products such as Stella & Chewy’s, Northwest Naturals, and probably the best option, Ziwi Peak.

So we gave it a try!

We were immediately impressed by the modern design and the structure of the feeder. It is well built and goes with our design in our home. It holds 4 liters of dry food so that you have peace of mind that it holds enough food for your cat or small/medium dog. You can program up to four feedings a day to customize your pet’s feeding schedule and the amount based on your pet’s weight and activity level.

Using an automatic feeder is a fantastic alternative to free feeding, or just leaving food out for your cat. You can monitor your cat’s food intake, which is generally the first indication that they aren’t feeling well if they skip a meal. You can ensure that they are getting their daily calorie and nutrient needs in a convenient way!

If you have multiple cats, you may need to supervise to make sure that each cat is getting enough to eat and that one cat isn’t bullying the other out of food. If this is the case, this feeder may not be the best option for their meals.

Overall, the Petlibro Automatic Feeder is easy to use and fill, dishwasher safe pieces that come in contact with food, quiet when it dispenses food, and is a convenient way to to make sure your cat gets what they need! We recommend this product!
